Tuesday morning Improvers' Art Class
Individual projects with tuition tailored to improve your painting skills
People learn quicker when they study subjects which inspire them - with these classes you will have the freedom to discover and explore your interests in art. On the improvers' course everyone brings in their own separate projects and receives guidance on a one-to-one basis; this means you can progress at your own pace and the tuition will be relevant to your individual development. This course is ideal if you have some prior experience of painting or drawing and would like professional instruction to help you progress further.
Improvers' Art at the Woodborough Institute, Nottingham
Located in the lovely village of Woodborough, the Institute is a former church that blends in well with nearby terraced cottages, but is deceptively spacious inside with a high ceiling and plenty of natural light.
If you travel by car, there is space to park outside on Roe Lane, or you are welcome to use the top end of the Four Bell's car park (free of charge) across the road.
If you use public transport, there is a regular service by Nottingham City Transport (buses 46 & 47) from the City Centre along Woodborough Road that stop nearby. There is also the hourly 747 that runs from Lowdham to Oxton (via Epperstone, Woodborough and Calverton) during the morning.
